Design 2. Nosagi Bag line of bicycle touring equipment

In the late 1970’s and into the 80’s Havel Designs developed the Nosagi Bag line of bicycle touring equipment. Three different models of plastic shelled and suspended cases were produced for a few years, until the bicycle industry turned from road bikes to mountain bikes and touring lost its popularity. The Front Load Cell pictured, had a volume of about 1.3 cubic feet and was mounted on an active suspension that gave far better handling characteristics than the standard handlebar bag as well as a measured 5% reduction in drag coefficient Also produced were hard shell Paniers that folded to a suitcase and a Rear Load Cell that held the Front Load Cell as baggage, and rode an active suspension as well.
